Yes! Spectrum Sanitiser is used on both hands and surfaces.
The active ingredients in Spectrum are quaternary ammonium compounds (QUATS) which when combined with the non active ingredients provide both the sanitising effect and form a covalent bond with the surface providing the long lasting protection.
Because of our independent testing which proves it!
In a nutshell Spectrum uses a formulation based on water based chemicals including biocides and polymers, developed over 5 years of research and development.
The biocides destroy viruses on a surface by penetrating their outer membrane layer. The polymers combine with the biocides to form molecular bonds on the surface which repel microorganisms and stop the viruses and bacteria from accumulating on the surface, even when the product is dried on the surface!
This synergistic combination of ingredients, makes Spectrum far more effective than alcohol sanitisers which are not only flammable and high risk but evaporate quickly and are only effective on already clean hands and surfaces.
We are constantly touching things and our skin sheds continuously. We advise to wash and sanitise your hands regularly.

Yes, Spectrum sanitiser is suitable to use on food preparation surfaces, as long as the surface area is wiped with a wet cloth afterwards.
No - Coronavirus can be fatal and so far there isn’t a vaccine. It is virtually impossible for any product to protect against this virus if someone with infected hands touches, sneezes or coughs on that surface. To prevent the spread of this virus, any surface which has any contact from any person needs to be resprayed. This 8 day protection is only effective against bacteria, however the % of protection organically decreases over this period of time, again it is best to spray frequently if using in high traffic areas. Spray more, protect more!
A biodegradable substance can be chemically decomposed (broken down to simpler components) by natural biological processes (e.g. soil bacteria, weather, plants, animals). The process by which substances biodegrade is called biodegradation.
Spectrum contains special skin softening ingredients which makes it gentle and kind on the hands.
